A Town Like Alice

BAFTA Award-winning film based on Nevil Shute's bestselling novel. A group of British POW women are led through the Malayan jungle by the Japanese during World War II. As a group they come to terms with the hardships they have to endure and are befriended by an Australian prisoner who dreams of returning to his home town, Alice Springs.
